- 1 / 5By Jack BWhen I went to this bar for the first and only time, I didn't understand why there were security guards and metal detectors at a suburban athletic club. By the time I left, I understood. After a couple hours of trying to shield my fiancee and her friend from the approaches of sloppy drunk men, I saw another belligerent drunk being physically escorted from the bar and threatened with arrest. A police car was waiting outside. We paid a $5 cover charge for that?November 29, 2016
